Silver medal of the XXIXth International Specialized Trade Fair

The Artyomovski Machine-Building Plant VENTPROM added the Silver Medal of the UGOL ROSSII & MINING - the XXIXth International Specialized Trade Fair - to its collection.
The UGOL ROSSII & MINING, the XXVth International Specialized Trade Fair for Mining Technology, supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, ended in Novokuznetsk.

The purpose of the event was to demonstrate the latest scientific and technological achievements, modern equipment, innovative technologies, and energy-efficient developments in the field of geological exploration and coal mining, as well as to solve the problems of underground work safety, utilization, and neutralization of coalmine methane, rock enrichment, and environmental protection.
The representatives of the Artyomovski Machine-Building Plant VENTPROM attended the Trade Fair, as has been our tradition over the number of years. The company was represented by Commercial Director Sergey Murashov, Head of the Novokuznetsk office Ilnar Ismagilov, Advisor to the General Director Vitaly Kutaev, and Project Manager Alexander Nalimov.
The Plant’s developments and accomplishments received high accolades from the expert community; the ВО-50АР axial reversible main ventilation unit for underground and open-pit mines was submitted to the Best Exhibit contest and awarded a silver medal of the Trade Fair.
This unit is designed based on the special versions of a new high-pressure aerodynamic scheme that ensures the maximum overall efficiency of fans with an inlet box and a diffuser at 80-87 %, depending on the fan hub-tip ratio.
The rotor group and blade system of the impeller of each unit size is optimized by the methods of finite element strength analysis, including dynamic analysis, with careful detuning of the structure’s natural oscillation frequencies from the frequency of the driving oscillations and its multiplicity.
The unit is equipped with noise reduction devices in the engine room and in the adjacent area that do not exceed sanitary standards.
The impeller blades are made of high-strength aluminium alloy, which significantly lightens the weight of the rotor and, accordingly, reduces the load on the unit's bearing assemblies and stator elements. To reduce the mass of the working blade and, accordingly, the dynamic loads on it, it is made hollow.
The sleeve cowling and the fan impeller hub are manufactured by seamless hot rolling.
