The Moscow Metro Will Receive 25 Tunnel Fans from Sverdlovsk Region

According to the telegram channel of the Transport Department of Moscow, Artyomovski Machine-Building Plant Ventprom (from Sverdlovsk Region) will deliver 25 tunnel fans providing the air renewal in the tunnels and stations to the Moscow Metro.
“Over the last years, the air in the metro during the summer got 3 degrees cooler thanks to renewal of the ventilation system. The new Russian-manufactured fans increase the air renewal in the metro by 30 per cent. Starting from the year 2004, we have renewed almost 98 per cent of the old ventilation shafts. In the year 2022, we have installed nine new home-produced tunnel fans, and 25 more units will be delivered to us by the end of the year”, said Maksim Liksutov, Deputy Transport Mayor of Moscow.
