Ventprom Celebrates the 90th Anniversary of the Moscow Metro
This year, the Moscow Metro marks a landmark milestone — its 90th anniversary.
The Artëmovsk Machine-Building Plant “Ventprom” extends its heartfelt congratulations to its trusted partner on this significant anniversary, wishing the Moscow Metro continued sustainable growth, technological breakthroughs, and flawless operations in service of the millions of passengers who rely on this vital transportation artery every day.
The history of the Moscow Metro began in 1935, with the official opening of its first line — the Sokolnicheskaya. At that time, just 13 stations entered service, and the launch of regular train operations marked the dawn of a new era in Moscow’s public transportation development.
Today, the Metro spans 15 lines with a total length exceeding 450 kilometers and includes over 250 stations. It transports more than 7 million passengers daily, ensuring seamless mobility across the capital.
Ventprom is proud to have been a proven supplier of advanced ventilation systems for the Moscow Metro for many years. Our equipment ensures reliable air circulation in tunnels and stations, maintaining the critical standards of safety, comfort, and air quality essential for both passengers and staff.
We are confident that many more joint projects lie ahead. On this special occasion, we congratulate the Moscow Metro on its 90th anniversary — with pride for its remarkable past and unwavering confidence in its brilliant future.
