THE PLANT TODAY
MANUFACTURE AND FACILITIES
State-of-the-art high-tech equipment ensures the quality and reliable operation of fans, even in cases with complicated designs.
The plant's history began in 1941 when the plant for the production of mining equipment was evacuated to Artyomovsky, Sverdlovsk region.
Since 1950, the plant specializes in the development of ventilation equipment. Over the decades, it has become the leader in the domestic fan industry.
Today when we say "VENTPROM" we mean state-of-the-art machining centers, plasma cutting complexes, Japanese welding robots.
Fan systems developed at the plant are used all over Russia and neighboring countries, from the Baltic States to Magadan
1941
With the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, the plant was evacuated to Ural – Artyomovsky, Sverdlovsk Region. It was established on the territory of the Egorshinugol multicorporate enterprise.Unsuitable premises were used for plant workshops: garages, bathhouses, working rooms, temporary buildings. Production at the new location was set up within the shortest period. Three weeks later, the plant began manufacturing ammunition for the Red Army. In wartime, the main workers at the plant were women and teenagers. Each worker had to process 250 parts for the Katyusha multiple rocket launcher per shift, each part weighing 12 and a half kilograms.
1950
A turning period in the history of the plant. At that time, the main specialization of the plant was determined – the manufacture of fans. The plant was subjected to extensive reconstruction and technical upgrading for the first.
1956
In 1956, among the thirty leading industrial enterprises of the Soviet Union, the plant received its own special design bureau, developments of which were awarded many times.
1960
In the '60s, the global site development was carried out on the territory of the plant. During these years, the plant's main facilities were built, such as a mechanical assembly shop, a mechanical repair shop, a tool shop, and an administration building construction.
1970
This year saw the creation of the only aerodynamic testing station in the Soviet Union. The Artyomovsky machine-building plant became the leader in the domestic fan industry.
1980
The number of fans produced per year reached 1,200 units. The plant fulfilled orders from more than 30 countries of the world.
1990
Despite economic difficulties, the plant continued to operate. At this particular time, the unique gas exhaust fans, local ventilation fans, and new single-stage fans for undergrounds were designed and introduced into production.
2000-2010
Upgrading of all manufacturing processes and complete renewal of the product range. State-of-the-art machining centers, plasma cutting complexes, painting complexes, Japanese welding robots – all this is aimed at one primary goal – to produce modern, high quality, and reliable fans.
2020
Today AO AMZ Ventprom comprises 9 manufacturing buildings on an area of more than 11 hectares, more than 600 employees, and 11 representations worldwide.
