VОМ-24 FAN APPLICATION
The VOM-24 axial-flow fan is designed to ventilate tunnels and underground stations. The fan is installed on-site in a tunnel chamber and can be used in single-fan / dual-fan installations. The airflow is reversed by changing the rotation direction of the electric drive motor while simultaneously altering the setting angle of the straightener blades.

The fan can be equipped with an automatic control system

VOM-24 fan design and features

The VOM 24 fan consists of the following assemblies: a housing, a rotor, straightener unit (SA), a manifold, a spinner, a damper, and drive motor.

The fan housing has a horizontal connector, and its both halves are connected by wedges. The rotor bearing supports are bolted to the housing.

The rotation of the straightener blades is performed separately, manually.

The fan rotor consists of a shaft with an impeller mounted on it; it rotates by means of two spherical roller bearings.

The impeller blades are fixed by spring rings, which allows changing the fan characteristics smoothly.

The blades are installed to the desired angle between 15° and 45° through the hatches when the fan is stopped.

Rotation from the electric motor to the rotor can be transmitted directly through an elastic coupling or by means of a V-belt transmission.
