VOD-11P axial two-stage fan is designed for use in main ventilation systems when performing mines and pits shaft sinking, and for general industrial ventilation.
VOD-11P fan design
The VOD-11P fan consists of the following main assemblies and parts: a frame, an electric motor, a coupling, an inlet box, a collector with a spinner, a housing, a rotor, and a diffuser.
— The spinner, the manifold, the inlet box, the impellers, the body, the diffuser and the frame are welded metal structures.
— The blades are attached to the impeller with locking rings and are pressed by springs, which makes it possible to smoothly rotate them to any angle. There is a special seat for mounting the temperature sensor. The rotor shaft rotates in two bearings mounted in housings. The electric drive is an asynchronous electric motor mounted on a common frame with the fan.
— The torque from the motor is transferred to the rotor through the coupling.
