VShC-16 fan application

The VShC-16 centrifugal prospect hole ventilation fan is designed for ventilation of mines and pits prospect holes. It can be used for the main ventilation systems of mines (pits) with bypass channels, for blowing or suction during shaft sinking, in heating and ventilation systems, for cooling electrical machinery, and other industrial purposes.

VShC-16 design

The VShC-16 fan is manufactured in right- and left-handed versions, and consists of the following main assemblies: an electric motor, a stand, a frame, a shaft, an impeller, a housing, a guide vane, and a diffuser.

The rotor is a shaft with an impeller, bearings and a coupling mounted on it. The shaft rotates in two pillow block bearings. The impeller consists of a main and cover discs, blades and a hub.

The fan housing is a split welded construction. The fan stand is welded to the frame. The shaft assembly, coupling guard and rotor guard are attached to it.

The guide vane has 12 blades. They are rotated simultaneously from -10° to +80° by a rotator. All assemblies are mounted on a common frame, which allows quick mounting and dismounting of the fan.
